IAREP-SABE 2021 Virtual Conference and Early Career Researchers Workshop
More than 400 participants from over 20 countries took part in the online event
The IAREP-SABE Conference is an event jointly organized by the International Association for Research in Economic Psychology (IAREP) and the Society for the Advancement of Behavioral Economics (SABE).
The conference brought together scholars who are interested in the intersection of economics and psychology, as well as to related disciplines of sociology, anthropology, neuroscience, and biology.
The format of the conference was virtual thematic and special sessions in addition to keynote speeches and general meetings. The virtual sessions were hosted via Zoom meetings by Universities from different regions of the world.
John A. List (University of Chicago) and Shyam Sunder (Yale School of Management) took part in the conference as keynote speakers.
IAREP and SABE traditionally offer young researchers an opportunity to present their research to experienced scholars (mentors) in experimental and behavioral economics and psychology at the Early Career Researchers Workshop.
This Workshop was organized by Alexey Belyanin on the first day of the main conference prior to the start of its official program. The workshop participants made a short presentation of their work, followed by a discussion with the mentor (senior researcher from the IAREP / SABE conference participants and invited speakers) and colleagues.
