About the Laboratory

The Laboratory of Experimental and Behavioral Economics that became an INTERNATIONAL LABORATORY in 2018,  was created in 2009 by a group of academics and students interested in pursuing experimental and experimentally-driven theoretical research in social sciences. Among its staff, there are economists and psychologists, some of whom were authors of the first experimental works in the field of experimental economics in Russia, as well as students of different faculties of the Higher School of Economics.

The laboratory aims at producing high-quality academic research (both theoretical and experimental) in individual and collective behaviour and its promotion through publication in peer-reviewed journals. At the same time, the laboratory sees its mission in the popularization of experimental and behavioural research in Russia and other countries by attracting and training of young researchers and students, organizing international conferences, seminars and workshops, international scientific projects, etc.
